Local council offices
We have designed the furniture layout for many departments in the Vale of Glamorgan council offices, with staff being relocated and offices being reconstructed with different shape individual offices. The design of the furniture layout being proposed by our CAD team and presented to the individual departments which when passed we were able to arrange for suitable delivery and installation dates (out of ours if required). Our installation team were always on time arriving with the furniture and with the minimum of disruption able to install the new desks and associated storage etc. to complete the projects it is always standard practice for a member of the sales team be present for final hand over to the client.
 
Call centre in Cardiff city centre
GIA had the opportunity to tender for a large call centre project in the centre of Cardiff, which took many weeks of careful planning to arrange the transformation of large office in carefully planned weekly stages. This involved the dismantle of existing desks to a waiting skip, swiftly followed by a good clean through and uplift of existing carpet. Once this was achieved we had to assess the condition of the floor with the option of laying floor screed in some arrears, this then had to go off overnight. The following morning first thing our carpet fitters were laying carpet just in front of our installation team and all furniture set out in position by the lunch time. This process took place every weekend for 6 weeks with a total of 160 desks being exchanged with the minimum of disruption while the busy call centre was able to continue working.
 
Manufacturing company in Llantrisant
This project was tendered for by many companies, with GIA being the successful recipient of the final order decision. Our client was particularly impressed with the forward planning and the careful consideration of each departments requirements, from the shop floor offices to administration and finally on the second floor of the large building where all the executive offices and boardroom with electronic visual aids for presentation etc. All rooms were individually designed with bespoke units being catered for where necessary and individual requirements taken into consideration. The installation was completed over a three day period with three teams of installation one working on each floor working together to achieve the final impressive finished project which was again signed over by our area sales manager.
